Our adventure today consisted of jumping on the skytain & getting off at a random stop.

we were pulled toward the water so we headed over, snapped pics, smiled at joggers running by us, giggled over cute puppy dogs, then walked up to a food store & bought a bunch'a bulk food to snack on the ride home.

NINA

This bipolar Vancouver weather is kind of frustrating. Some days it's wonderful and sunny while others such as this one are cloudy and depressing. This  is why my relationship with fall is sort of a love-hate one. I love the sun...soo much. but I also love to layer on the thick knits and wrap around scarfs, so here I am torn. Well if it means wearing more lovely knits, thigh high socks and my favorite....boots <3 then I guess I'll stick with cold and cloudy. (for now) 

so Tash and myself are slowly discovering wonderful new (to me) areas of Vancouver. as well as stalking  finding numerous movie sets... they're everywhere! if you ask me its hard not to accidently stumble across one in van city these days......never know who you'll run into Leonardo DiCaprio perhaps? (in my dreams.)

also brick walls go very well with fruit loops. yumm.

Natt:
yes... the art room is for doing art, but i didn't realize how many objects and creative stuff in there caught my eye. 
maybe it was from depriving myself from stepping foot into an art room for years... for no particular reason at all.
i wouldn't at all consider myself the artsy type that can draw and paint. but if you consider blogging a type of art, i shall give myself a tad of credit for that... it's something i enjoy.
nina, on the other hand, is the talented artsy fartsy one.
she's taking textiles while i'm taking musical theatre. same post secondary school. same bus, sky train, sea bus, bus again route.
back to art... i really enjoyed this 'masterpiece' she created. it was so spunky, cheerful & plainly brilliant. 
ps... after having my camera for over 7 months now, i was finally shown how to use it 'properly'. thank you boris for showing me that one button can make all the difference...

i needed a new phone. & i've been needing an ipod... i've never had one before.
so i went with the iphone 4. and boy i could never go back to my old phone now..

Being unable to afford such exquisite attire, i find it appropriate to at least be able to drool over it.
yes, if i was a better saver perhaps i could indulge in clothing like this, but because i am a 'starving student' the best i can do is only hope that schooling gets me somewhere so that i can one day have a good job that will pay for clothing that makes my body smile.
for now, i am satisfied with what i have.
..it's okay to sometimes fall head-over-heels for things...and softly cry to yourself.
